A huge congratulations to TY student Hadley Scott whose work has been chosen to be featured on the cover of the Specialist Crafts catalogue for 2019. Specialist Crafts is a high-profile arts, crafts, sewing and technical graphics supplier who supplies materials to schools and colleges all over the island. Their catalogue is sent to art and design teachers all over the country, and to be featured on the cover is a great achievement. Hadley’s work is a very detailed pen drawing of Lyons’ shop here in Sligo. It was done at the end of 2nd year as part of a class project where students did pen drawings of landmark buildings in Sligo, and was submitted for the competition a year ago. Ms Hynes says “A well-deserved accolade for Hadley! We’re very proud of You!”
