Welcome Back to School!

Posted on : August 25, 2019

Another school year begins at SGS! After a very enjoyable Debs and pleasing set of results, our class of 2018/19 leave on the next stage of their journey, and we wish them all the best in the coming years. Photos from their Debs Ball can be seen HERE. More photos can be seen on the school facebook page which can be accessed at the bottom of the website Home page.  MEANWHILE… School Admin, Groundskeeping and Domestic Staff have been working hard for the last number of weeks to get all up and running for the new year and the Headmaster and DP have been back to work since the beginning of August. The teaching staff were back on duty on Thursday 22nd and first years had an introductory day on Friday 23rd. On Monday 26th 1st, 3rd and 6th year students will be back in class with 2nd and 5th year back in class on Tuesday 27th. Finally TY students and their parents will have an information evening on Wednesday 28th at 5pm and the TYs will be back in school on Thursday morning.

We hope all our students have a successful, rewarding – and enjoyable – year and we wish them all the best for the school year 2019/2020.
