On Monday 10th April, Junior students, from 2nd and 3rd year, returned from an activity-packed four days in Germany. The students were accompanied by teachers Emily Tansey, Eoin Tarmey, Pauric Cassidy and Tommy Cradock. They left Ireland in the early hours of Thursday morning, spending the weekend in the Cologne region. As well as soaking up German culture and language, the students visited paces of interest, including Cologne Cathedral, Schloss Drachenburg and Cologne Zoo. They also spent a day at Phantasia Land theme Park. The four days were packed with activities and the SGS pupils and teachers arrived home in the early hours of Monday morning, tired but, hopefully, happy – and full of German! See our slide show HERE
