Cultural Tour to Germany

Posted on : October 16, 2018

From October 11th to October 14th the German language students from forms 3 and 4  visited the Cologne region of Germany on a cultural tour. During the trip they saw the marvellous Gothic Cathedral of Cologne as well as Drachenberg Castle. They also visited the Cologne Zoo and spent a day enjoying the beautiful Rhine Valley. In the evenings they students had activities such as laser tag, swimming, tobogganing and ice skating. No tour would be complete without a visit to a theme park and these students were doubly lucky to get to two – Movie Park and Phantasialand. The tour was a great success and students arrived home in the early hours of Monday morning. Thank you to the teachers who gave up their time to take the group to Germany – Ms Tansey, Ms Finnerty, Mr Brandon (senior!) and Mr Henry. Pictures can be seen HERE.
