2021-2022

In March junior students participated in the Irish Maths Teachers Association Junior Maths Competition. This competition consists of a Schools Round where multiple choice brain teasers are answered within a 40 minute period. The results then go forward to the IMTA and successful students are invited to attend a Regional Final.
SGS students used phones, i-pads and Chromebooks to participate in the competition.
Good luck to them all and hopefully we will have a couple of Regional finalists!

TY maths students were busy in the first term.

The TY mathematics students used a variety of parent functions and transformations using technology, creativity, and problem-solving skills to make Artwork with piecewise functions in Desmos.
