Sligo Grammar School is delighted to congratulate former Head Boy Ronan Marron on his recent graduation from Kings College, Cambridge. Ronan was awarded First Class Honours in Politics and International Studies on Wednesday 28th June. Ronan spent his secondary school years in Sligo Grammar School, emerging with an excellent Leaving Cert. He went through the rigorous application procedures for entry to Cambridge and, like his sister, Sinéad, before him, was successful in his application to this most prestigious of Universities. The school is rightly proud – and a bit in awe – of both Ronan and Sinéad (who graduated from Cambridge a number of years ago) and we wish Ronan all the best for his future.
