Carol Singing for Victo

On Wednesday 17th December students from Sligo Grammar School went carol singing outside Tesco  in Sligo. This has become an annual event  in the school. It is part of the Fields of Life project that the school has been involved in for the last number of years. The Grammar School sponsors a girl, Victo,  in Uganda. We raise funds to help provide Victo with an education.  Sligo Grammar School has seen her through her primary school years. She is now in Secondary School and is in contact with SGS a few times a year.  We raised €250 last Wednesday and in the new year the students will hold a cake sale in the school to add to these funds.

Victo (in pink) is pictured here with her family.
