These will form part of the Irish teams preparations for the European U18 Championships in Germany in July. Well done to Maebh on this fantastic achievement – the result of a lot of hard work and dedication.
On Monday 12th Dec. the boarders enjoyed a festive Christmas Dinner in the school dining hall. The long-held tradition of students being served by staff continued, followed by the traditional speeches from 6th year students for whom this is their last Christmas in the Boarding House. On Thursday 17th November Sligo Grammar School held its annual Service of Remembrance and Reconciliation. The whole school turned out to remember those who died in both World Wars. Also remembered were members of An Garda Síochána and the Irish Defence Forces who died in the line of duty and Irish soldiers who died while on service with the United Nations.
