This year we say goodbye to members of staff. Ms Elayne Mc Dermott is taking early retirement after many years in Sligo Grammar School. In the main Elayne was a teacher of PE and Geography, but for a period of time she ran the Learning Support Department in SGS. She was the person who set up The Lodge which is the centre of the SEN Department in the school, and so laid the foundations of our very successful SEN programme.
Euan Cradock produced a season’s best to claim bronze at the Irish Indoor Rowing Championships this weekend (17/Jan/2026) in UL.
