SGS recently participated in the Erasmus+ programme

As part of our ongoing commitment to professional development and international collaboration, SGS recently participated in the Erasmus+ programme, with staff taking part in a teacher mobility experience in Barcelona, where they deepened their understanding of wellbeing and anti-bullying strategies. The training, part of the prestigious Erasmus+ program, aimed to equip educators with innovative approaches to creating a safer and more supportive environment for students.

The week-long course, titled ” Emotional Intelligence, Conflict Management and (Cyber) Bullying Prevention” brought together educators from across Europe, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and best practices. The participating Sligo Grammar School teachers had the opportunity to learn from international experts in the fields of psychology, education and child welfare, gaining valuable insights into effective interventions and preventive measures.
