Sligo Grammar School Kayak Club ran their fourth Outdoor Pursuits Trip to Achill surf Adventure Centre on Achill Island from Sunday 5^th to Tuesday 7^th  October 2025.

This trip was for Sligo Grammar Kayak Club members and anyone interested in the Outdoors. The itinerary involved leaving school on Sunday morning and completing the Mayo Greenway from Newport to Achill followed by an evening pier jump. Monday’s  activities included surfing and sea kayaking.

Staying at Achill Surf Centre on Achill Island, 32 students travelled on this 3 day adventure. The pier jumping, surf sessions and 32km greenway cycle from Achill to Mulranny and back was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
