Presentation to Mr Morris

The PPA made presentations to Mr. Oliver Morris on his retirement gathering in The Clarion.  Great appreciation was expressed of all he had done for so many pupils.  We wish both Mr Morris and his wife, Pamela (both also Past Pupils pf the school) many happy years of interesting new ventures!

The President's Chain of Office

The chain dates back to 1955 and was presented by John A. Trueman.  We need to lengthen the chain significantly in order to add the names of new and recent Presidents.  This will require a new type of necklace.  Any offers???  Donations, sponsorship??? Email  cbroberts@eircom.net

The Banner

The Association presented a Banner to Calry Church as part of its 175th Anniversary Celebrations. This was in recognition of the long and close relationship the school has had with the church.

The Banner, has the old High School motto in Greek "that which is worth having is hardest to get" and was designed by Alma Lindsay.

The Banner was presented at a special service for Past Pupils held on the 16th October 1999.
