Music
This is our Irish music group. It is called Teaspach. They are currently in the semi-final of their competition. Best of luck folks!
In Sligo Grammar School there are many opportunities to learn a variety of instruments and as the photos on this age illustrate, we experience a range of performance opportunities from our All-Ireland Traditional music group Spraoi. Our music group came first last year and we hope for the same this year. We wish them all the best for this year and for their upcoming competitions....

Class Act 2009

There was great excitement in the school when one
of our Junior Certificate pupils won the RTE Programme "Class Act"
all-Ireland talent show. Sligo recognised his achievement by
inviting him to be the guest artist at the local version of the "Battle
of the Bands" competition.
Well done!
During the year the music department host a couple of concerts which gives all music students the chance to perform before a live audience.
