In Sligo Grammar School there are many opportunities to learn a variety of instruments and as the photos on this age illustrate, we experience a range of performance opportunities from our All-Ireland Traditional music group Spraoi. Our music group came first last year and we hope for the same this year. We wish them all the best for this year and for their upcoming competitions....

	There was great excitement in the school when one of our Junior Certificate pupils won the RTE Programme "Class Act" all-Ireland talent show. Sligo recognised his achievement by inviting him to be the guest artist at the local version of the "Battle of the Bands" competition. Well done!
....to a concert last year which presented the wealth of musical talent for the enjoyment of the school community.
