School Play

 

 

This year's play was presented by PlasterCast. They presented Leonard Bernstein's Classic musical West Side Story, on Tuesday 23th, Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th of March 2010. This was presented in the Hawks Well Theatre. The cast was drawn from 4th and 5th years. many rehearsals got underway to ensure the production was a success.

The set was painted by some of the art students in 4th and 5th year much hard work and energy went into the costumes, hair and make-up and the overall performance. It was a full house every night and the audience certainly weren't disappointed!!

 The last play was "She stoops to Conquer" by Oliver Goldsmith produced and was performed by forms 4 and 5. It took take place on Tuesday and Wednesday 15th and 16th May in the Hawks Well Theatre, Sligo.  It was a fantastic production...these photos can only give a flavour of the quality of the production...

The previous play was "The Importance Of Being Ernest" by Oscar Wilde, and was put on by 4th and 5th years. It was  a great success. Well done to all those involved and a big thanks to Henrike Granzow and the play's director.  Click the picture to run a slide show of the performance.

T.Y Drama

On Wednesday the 28th February, A group of T.Y Drama students travelled to the Nun's Island theatre in Galway to perform "Who Dunnit?" in an All-Ireland drama competition. Their performance was a success and the group have made it through to the next round, the semi-finals in Cork.
