Basketball

SGS has been developed its Basketball capability in the last few years and is improving quickly. We are really proud of it!!

Senior and U16 Teams

Well done U-16 Team!  Having only been promoted to the B League this year they finished All-Ireland Bronze winners having been narrowly beaten by a team from Bray.  They were also Bronze winners in the Regional Cup.

 

Last year the U-19 Senior Team were the All Ireland C-Team champions. This year they were promoted to B Division and as a young team are still only showing their future potential! 

U16 Girls and Juniors

U16 Girls played well and ever improving.  There is a great gang of them wanting to play and they show great promise!

Transition Year students are under guidance assisting in the coaching of 1st and 2nd year teams as part of their president's Award. and they are doing well in friendly matches.
